San Francisco Love

These two wonderful humans found me from a post on A Practical Wedding. We met in December for their engagement photo session at Muir Woods and quickly became friends, as on the way there my car was sideswiped and the driver kept going! Muir Woods was funny too, as it was the very end of December, pre pandemic and the park was packed, like Disneyland on a summer day.

Fast forward to what we all know happened and they were supposed to be married in May. All these months we've been in touch and hopeful about them being able to get a City Hall zoom style wedding. Next weekend for job purposes they are moving to the East Coast, so we decided to do a little photo shoot in areas of the bay that they love.

So we met up recently, they wore their wedding clothes and we went to a few of their favorite locations, Lyon Street Steps, Sausalito and Lands End. I don't remember the last time I was in any of these places and it was really fun feeling like a tourist in the area I'm from.

While in Sausalito they got the phone call that they will be able to be married from City Hall by zoom. I'm so happy for them and even though this wasn't what they originally had hoped for, they were able to make it work. Congratulations you two, so happy for your new chapter, good luck on the move and I hope to see you someday and eat cake together on the East Coast!
